Lemon Butter Sauce

Method

Preparation of Salmon

  1. 1

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, about 375°F (190°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Salmon

Brush each salmon fillet with olive oil on both sides, then season with salt and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Grill the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 6-8 minutes. Flip the fillets and grill for an additional 4-6 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked to your desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Add Lemon

While grilling, slice the lemon in half. Place the lemon halves cut-side down on the grill for the last 2 minutes of cooking to caramelize.

Preparation of Lemon Butter Sauce

  1. 5

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat.

  2. 6

    Add Garlic

Finely chop the garlic cloves and add them to the melted butter. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

  3. 7

Mix in Lemon Juice and Parsley

Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the lemon juice, chopped fresh parsley, and a pinch of salt.

Serving

  1. 8

    Plate the Dish

Once the salmon is cooked, remove it from the grill and plate it. Drizzle the lemon butter sauce over the top.

  2. 9

    Serve with Grilled Lemon

Serve the grilled salmon alongside the grilled lemon halves for extra flavor.
