Combine Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

Melt Butter
In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, remove from heat and set aside to cool slightly.

Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined; do not overmix. The batter should be slightly lumpy.

Heat the Pan
Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease with oil or additional butter.

Cook Pancakes
For each pancake, pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet. Cook until bubbles form on the surface (about 2-3 minutes), then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side (another 2-3 minutes).
