1. Brew Coffee
Begin by brewing fresh coffee using your preferred method (drip, French press, etc.). Aim for a strong brew to complement the bourbon.
2. Mix Ingredients
In a heatproof glass or mug, combine 2 oz of Kentucky bourbon with 4 oz of the freshly brewed coffee.
3. Add Sugar
Stir in 1 tsp of granulated sugar until fully dissolved. Adjust sweetness to taste.
4. Top with Cream
Gently pour 2 oz of heavy cream over the back of a spoon to create a layered effect on top of the coffee mixture.
5. Serve
Serve the drink hot, optionally garnished with a sprinkle of cocoa powder or a cinnamon stick for added flavor.
