Method

Mousse Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Avocados

Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a blender.

  2. 2

    Blend Ingredients

Add cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and sea salt to the blender with the avocado. Blend until smooth and creamy.

  3. 3

    Taste and Adjust

Taste the mousse and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more maple syrup. Blend again if adjusted.

Whipped Coconut Cream Preparation

  1. 4

    Chill Coconut Milk

Refrigerate the can of coconut milk overnight to allow the cream to separate from the liquid.

  2. 5

    Extract the Cream

Open the can and scoop out the solidified coconut cream into a mixing bowl, leaving the liquid behind.

  3. 6

    Whip the Cream

Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract to the coconut cream and whip with a hand mixer until fluffy and soft peaks form.

Serving and Garnishing

  1. 7

    Assemble the Mousse

Spoon the chocolate avocado mousse into serving dishes, filling them about ¾ full.

  2. 8

    Top with Whipped Cream

Dollop the whipped coconut cream generously on top of each mousse serving.

  3. 9

    Add Fresh Berries

Scatter fresh berries on top of the whipped cream and dust lightly with powdered sugar for garnish.

  4. 10

    Serve and Enjoy

Serve immediately and enjoy your decadent chocolate avocado mousse with fresh berries and whipped coconut cream.
