Preparation
- 1
Toast the Sourdough
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the sourdough slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- 2
Prepare the Figs
While the bread is toasting, wash the figs under cold water. Pat them dry with a paper towel and cut them into quarters or halves, depending on your preference.
- 3
Chop the Pistachios
Using a sharp knife, chop the shelled pistachios into small pieces. Set aside for garnish.
Assembly
- 4
Assemble the Toast
Once the sourdough is toasted, remove it from the oven. Place a generous amount of burrata cheese on each slice of toast.
- 5
Add Figs and Garnish
Top the burrata with the prepared figs, allowing them to cascade over the cheese. Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the figs and cheese.
- 6
Finish with Basil and Pistachios
Tear the fresh basil leaves and sprinkle them over the top. Finally, add the chopped pistachios for a nice crunch. Serve immediately and enjoy!
