Method

Prepare the Wagyu Patty

  1. 1

    Combine Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the wagyu beef with salt and black pepper. Gently mix to combine without overworking the meat.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and form patties that are slightly larger than the burger buns.

Cook the Burger

  1. 3

    Preheat Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat.

  2. 4

    Grill Patties

Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side.

  3. 5

    Melt Cheese

Flip the patties and place a slice of gruyere cheese on each. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes or until the desired doneness is reached.

Cook the Bacon

  1. 6

    Cook Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the cherrywood smoked bacon until crispy. Remove and place on a paper towel to drain excess fat.

Prepare Toppings

  1. 7

    Slice Toppings

Slice the avocado, red onion, and tomato.

  2. 8

    Prepare Lettuce

Wash and dry the lettuce leaf.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 9

    Toast Buns

Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill for about 1 minute.

  2. 10

    Add Sauce

Spread 1 tablespoon of signature burger sauce on the bottom half of each bun.

  3. 11

    Add Patty

Place the cooked wagyu patty with melted gruyere on top of the sauce.

  4. 12

    Add Toppings

Layer the bacon, avocado, lettuce, red onion, and tomato on top of the patty.

  5. 13

    Complete Burger

Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
