Preparation of Ingredients

  1. 1

    Wash and Prepare Greens

Thoroughly wash the fresh spinach and field greens under cold water. Spin dry or pat dry with a clean kitchen towel. Place in a large salad bowl.

  2. 2

    Prepare Fruits and Nuts

Dice the pear, slice the Granny Smith apple, and thinly slice the red onion. If using canned mandarin oranges, drain and rinse them. If using fresh, peel and segment them. Add all prepared fruits and dried cranberries to the salad bowl with the greens.

  3. 3

    Add Candied Pecans

Add the candied pecans to the salad bowl, mixing gently to combine with the fruits and greens.

Assemble the Salad

  1. 4

    Dress the Salad

Drizzle the raspberry vinaigrette over the salad mixture in the bowl. Toss gently to ensure all ingredients are evenly coated with the dressing.

  2. 5

    Top with Goat Cheese

Crumble the blueberry vanilla goat cheese over the top of the salad. Adjust the amount to taste.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve

Serve the salad immediately as a fresh appetizer or side dish. Enjoy!
