Method
Shrimp and Sausage Preparation
- 1
Sauté Vegetables and Sausage
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions, red bell pepper, and green bell pepper. Sauté for about 5 minutes until they begin to soften.
- 2
Add Sausage
Add the sliced spicy sausage to the skillet and continue to sauté for another 5 minutes until the sausage is browned.
- 3
White Wine Creole Reduction
- 4
Make the Reduction
In a separate saucepan, combine the white wine, chicken broth, and Creole seasoning. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for about 10 minutes until reduced by half.
- 5
Finish the Sauce
Stir in the heavy cream and let it simmer for an additional 5 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- 6
Combine
Pour the white wine creole reduction over the sautéed shrimp and sausage mixture. Stir well to coat everything in the sauce.
- 7
Add Parmesan
Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top and let it melt slightly before serving.
Garlic Truffle Baguette Preparation
- 8
Prepare the Baguette
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the baguette in half lengthwise.
- 9
Make Garlic Butter
In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, and truffle oil until well combined.
- 10
Spread and Bake
Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on both halves of the baguette. Place on a baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
