Preparation of Bread

Slice the Baguette
Cut the French baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices.

Toast the Bread
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the sliced baguette on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil. Toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

Prepare the Tomatoes
Dice the Roma tomatoes and place them in a mixing bowl.

Add Basil and Garlic
Chop the fresh basil leaves and mince the garlic cloves. Add both to the bowl with the diced tomatoes.

Season the Mixture
Add the balsamic glaze, salt, and black pepper to the tomato mixture. Stir gently to combine all ingredients.
Assembly

Top the Toasts
Once the bread is toasted, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly. Spoon the tomato topping generously onto each slice of toasted bread.

Arrange the bruschetta on a serving platter and serve immediately.
