Prepare the Waffle Batter

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt until well combined.

Combine Both Mixtures
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are okay.
Cook the Waffles

Preheat Waffle Iron
Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions. Lightly grease it with cooking spray or a little melted butter.

Cook the Waffles
Pour an appropriate amount of batter onto the center of the preheated waffle iron (usually about 1/2 to 3/4 cup, depending on the size of your iron). Close the lid and cook until the waffles are golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
