Oysters

Method

Preparation of Bloody Mary Butter

1

Make the Butter

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter, tomato juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, celery salt, lemon juice, and ground black pepper. Mix well until fully combined and smooth.

Cooking the Bacon

2

Cook the Bacon Lardons

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon lardons until crispy. Remove from heat and set aside. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Grilling the Oysters

3

Grill the Oysters

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Place the fresh oysters on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the oysters open up and are heated through.

4

Add the Toppings

Remove the oysters from the grill. Top each oyster with a dollop of Bloody Mary butter and a few pieces of crispy bacon lardons.

Serving

5

Serve Hot

Serve the grilled oysters immediately, while hot, with lemon wedges on the side for extra flavor.
