Chicken
Marinade
Method
Preparation
Prepare the Marinade
In a bowl, mix together the Alabama white barbecue sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, paprika, and olive oil until well combined.
Marinate the Chicken
Place the chicken thighs in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken and ensure each piece is well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
Cooking
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
Grill the Chicken
Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the leftover marinade. Grill the chicken thighs for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the skin is crispy.
Serve
Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Drizzle additional Alabama white barbecue sauce on top if desired.
