Oysters and Toppings

Method

Preparation and Serving

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove from the skillet and let them cool. Once cooled, crumble the bacon into small pieces.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Kimchi

If using whole kimchi pieces, chop them into small, bite-sized pieces for easier topping on the oysters.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Oysters

Shuck the oysters carefully and place them on a serving platter. Ensure the oyster shells are well-balanced to hold the juices.

  4. 4

    Top the Oysters

On each oyster, add a spoonful of kimchi, a sprinkle of crumbled bacon, and a generous amount of grated parmesan cheese.

  5. 5

    Broil the Oysters

Preheat your oven's broiler. Place the topped oysters on a baking sheet and broil for about 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  6. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
