Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken Wings
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Place the wings in a large mixing bowl.
- 2
Season the Wings
Add the salt, black pepper, and olive oil to the bowl with the chicken wings. Toss the wings until they are evenly coated with the seasoning.
Cooking
- 3
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- 4
Arrange the Wings
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup and place a wire rack on top. Arrange the seasoned chicken wings in a single layer on the wire rack.
- 5
Bake the Wings
Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy, flipping them halfway through the cooking time.
Serving
- 6
Toss in Sauce or Serve on the Side
Once the wings are done baking, you can toss them in your choice of sauce or serve the sauces on the side for dipping.
- 7
Serve Hot
Transfer the wings to a serving platter and serve hot, garnished with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing if desired.
