Preparation

Prepare the Potatoes

Boil the potatoes in salted water for about 15-20 minutes, or until tender. Drain, allow to cool slightly, and then slice them into thick rounds.

Sauté the Vegetables

In a skillet, heat a little oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and cook until translucent. Add the asparagus and cook for another 5 minutes until tender.

Assembly

Layer the Ingredients

In a baking dish, layer the sliced potatoes, followed by the sautéed onions and asparagus. Top with the sliced ham.

Add the Cheese

Evenly distribute the Alpine Raclette cheese over the top of the layered ingredients.

Bake

Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F) and bake the dish for about 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbling.

Serving

Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, and serve hot with slices of crusty bread.
