Peel and pit ripe peaches, then blend them in a blender until smooth. Strain through a fine sieve if you prefer a smoother texture.
Mixing the Cocktail

In a cocktail shaker, add the bourbon, peach puree, lemon juice, and simple syrup.

Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
