Prepare the Sauce
In a bowl, combine the tomato sauce with salt and black pepper. Stir well to combine, and set aside.

Slice the Fresh Tomatoes
Wash the fresh tomatoes and slice them into thin rounds. Set aside.

Prepare the Basil
Wash the fresh basil leaves and pat them dry with a clean towel. Set aside.

Grate the Mozzarella Cheese
Grate or slice the mozzarella cheese into thin pieces and set aside.
Assembling the Margarita

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).

Spread the Sauce
Spread the prepared tomato sauce evenly over the pizza dough.

Add Mozzarella
Sprinkle the grated mozzarella cheese evenly over the tomato sauce.

Arrange Fresh Tomatoes
Place the sliced fresh tomatoes evenly on top of the mozzarella cheese.

Drizzle Olive Oil
Drizzle the olive oil over the top of the assembled pizza.

Bake the Pizza
Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

Add Fresh Basil
Remove the pizza from the oven and immediately top with fresh basil leaves.

Slice and Serve
Allow the pizza to cool for a couple of minutes before slicing it into wedges. Serve warm and enjoy!
