Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Sprinkle salt and black pepper generously on both sides of the ribeye steaks. Let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is shimmering, add the steaks. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness is reached. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes.

Fries Preparation

  1. 3

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel the russet potatoes and cut them into thin strips (about 1/4 inch thick). Soak the potato strips in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  2. 4

    Fry the Potatoes

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a large pot to 350°F (175°C). Drain the soaked potatoes and pat them dry with paper towels. Fry them in batches for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels, then sprinkle with salt.

Garlic Butter Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare the Garlic Butter

Melt the unsalted butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned. Remove from heat and stir in fresh parsley and salt.
