Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fruits

Wash all the fruits thoroughly. Slice the oranges, lemons, and limes into thin rounds. Core and chop the apple into bite-sized pieces. If using strawberries, slice them in half.

Mixing

  1. 2

    Combine the Ingredients

In a large pitcher, add the prepared fruits: oranges, lemons, limes, apples, and berries. Pour in the red wine, orange juice, and brandy. Stir gently to combine.

  2. 3

    Add Sweeteners

Add the granulated sugar and the cinnamon stick to the mixture. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Chilling

  1. 4

    Chill the Sangria

Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best flavor. This allows the fruits to infuse the drink.

Serving

  1. 5

    Serve the Sangria

Before serving, add the sparkling water to the pitcher and stir gently. Serve the sangria over ice in glasses, garnished with additional fruit slices if desired.
