Garlic Fries
Chermoula Ketchup
Method
Garlic Fries
- 1
Prepare the Potatoes
Wash and cut the russet potatoes into thin strips or wedges, ensuring they are evenly sized for uniform cooking.
- 2
Soak Potatoes
Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch. This helps achieve extra crispiness.
- 3
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- 4
Seasoning the Fries
Drain and dry the potatoes thoroughly. In a large bowl, combine the potatoes with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
- 5
Bake the Fries
Spread the seasoned potatoes in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
- 6
Finish with Cheese and Parsley
Once the fries are done, remove them from the oven and sprinkle with grated asiago cheese and chopped fresh parsley. Toss lightly to combine.
