Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Chill the Champagne

Place the bottle of champagne in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving, or in an ice bucket for 30 minutes to chill quickly.

  2. 2

    Juicing Oranges

If you are using whole oranges, cut them in half and use a citrus juicer to extract the juice. You will need about 4-5 medium oranges to yield 2 cups of juice.

  3. 3

    Mix the Ingredients

In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed orange juice with the chilled champagne. Pour the orange juice first, then slowly add the champagne to maintain the bubbles.

  4. 4

    Serve

Pour the mimosa mixture into champagne flutes, filling each glass halfway. Garnish with a slice of orange on the rim of each glass.
