Method
Cooking the Pasta

Boil Water
In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon of salt.

Cook Fettuccine
Add the fettuccine to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions, usually around 8-10 minutes, until al dente.

Drain Pasta
Once cooked, drain the fettuccine in a colander and set aside.
Making the Sauce

Sauté Garlic
In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Add Spices
Stir in crushed red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 30 seconds.

Add Tomatoes
Pour in the canned crushed tomatoes and stir to combine. Let the sauce simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add Seafood
Add the lobster meat and rock shrimp to the sauce. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until the seafood is cooked through.

Stir in Basil
Fold in the chopped fresh basil and let it cook for 1 more minute.
Combining Everything

Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the drained fettuccine to the skillet with the sauce. Toss well to coat the pasta with the sauce and seafood.

Plate the fettuccine and sprinkle with grated Pecorino Romano cheese before serving.
