Dark chocolate soaked lady fingers layered with our espresso and Frangelico liquor mousse and mascarpone cream cheese, garnished with cocoa and vanilla cream.

Lady Fingers Preparation

Melt the Chocolate
In a heatproof bowl, melt 150g of dark chocolate over a pot of simmering water, stirring until smooth. Allow to cool slightly.

Prepare the Coffee Mixture
In a shallow dish, combine 200ml of espresso coffee and 50ml of Frangelico liquor. Stir well to combine.

Soak the Lady Fingers
Quickly dip each lady finger into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy. Layer them in a rectangular dish.
Mousse Preparation

Melt the Chocolate for Mousse
In a separate heatproof bowl, melt 200g of dark chocolate over simmering water until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Whip the Cream
In a mixing bowl, whip 300ml of heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.

Prepare the Egg Mixture
In another bowl, whisk together 3 egg yolks and 50g of granulated sugar until pale and fluffy.

Combine Ingredients
Gradually fold the melted chocolate into the egg mixture, then gently fold in the whipped cream until fully incorporated.
Mascarpone Cream Preparation

Mix the Cream Ingredients
In a bowl, combine 250g of mascarpone cheese, 150g of cream cheese, 30g of powdered sugar, and 1 tsp of vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
Assembly

Layer the Mousse
Spread half the chocolate mousse over the soaked lady fingers in the dish. Then, add a layer of the mascarpone cream over the mousse.

Repeat the Layers
Add another layer of the soaked lady fingers, followed by the remaining chocolate mousse and mascarpone cream.

Chill the Tiramisu
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
Garnishing

Prepare the Garnish
Before serving, whip 100ml of cream until soft peaks form. Spread the whipped cream on top of the tiramisu.

Dust with Cocoa
Dust the top with 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder for a finishing touch.
