Preparation Instructions
- 1
Brew the Tea
In a large pot, bring 8 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the Hawaiian tea leaves. Let the tea steep for about 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.
- 2
Sweeten the Tea
After steeping, strain the tea into a pitcher. While the tea is still warm, stir in the honey or agave syrup until fully dissolved.
- 3
Cool the Tea
Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
- 4
Serve
To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes. Pour the chilled tea over the ice, then add a splash of lemon juice and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
