Burger Ingredients

Caramelized Onions

Black Pepper Maple Aioli

Method

Preparing Caramelized Onions

  1. 1

    Caramelize the Onions

Slice the onion thinly. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and cook, stirring occasionally, until they are golden brown and caramelized, about 20-25 minutes.

Making Black Pepper Maple Aioli

  1. 2

    Prepare the Aioli

In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, maple syrup, and black pepper. Mix well until smooth and set aside.

Cooking the Burger

  1. 3

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet, cook the maple bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  2. 4

    Cook the Wagyu Patties

In the same skillet, cook the wagyu beef patties to your desired doneness, about 3-4 minutes per side for medium. Add cheddar cheese on top of the patties during the last minute of cooking to melt.

  3. 5

    Fry the Eggs

In another skillet, fry the eggs sunny-side up or to your preference.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 6

    Build the Burger

On the bottom half of each burger bun, layer arugula, the wagyu burger with melted cheese, caramelized onions, bacon, and a fried egg. Spread the black pepper maple aioli on the top half of the bun and place it on top to complete the burger.

Serving

  1. 7

    Serve with French Fries

Serve the burger alongside a generous portion of hot French fries.
