For the Chicken Parmigiana
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip into beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
- 2
Fry the Chicken
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the breaded chicken breasts for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Transfer them to a baking dish.
- 3
Add Marinara and Cheese
Pour marinara sauce over the fried chicken breasts and sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese generously on top.
- 4
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 5
Prepare the Linguine
While the chicken is baking, cook linguine according to package instructions. Drain and toss with marinara sauce.
- 6
Serve
Remove the chicken from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, and serve it over the linguine. Garnish with fresh basil.
