Cook the Linguini
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add linguini and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Alfredo Sauce
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the Cream
Pour in the heavy cream and stir well. Allow the mixture to simmer for about 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Incorporate the Cheese
Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Season with salt and cracked black pepper to taste.

Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked linguini to the sauce and toss to coat the pasta evenly. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.

Plate the linguini Alfredo and garnish with extra Parmesan cheese and cracked black pepper if desired. Serve immediately.
