Method

Cooking the Ribeye

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribeye

Remove the ribeye from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. Preheat your grill or skillet over high heat.

  2. 2

    Season the Steak

Rub the ribeye with olive oil, then generously season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, rosemary, and thyme.

  3. 3

    Cook the Steak

Place the ribeye on the grill or skillet and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer if desired. Use a meat thermometer to check for an internal temperature of 130°F.

  4. 4

    Rest the Steak

Once cooked, remove the ribeye from heat and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Cooking the Herbed Steak Fries

  1. 5

    Prepare the Potatoes

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Cut the russet potatoes into wedges.

  2. 6

    Season the Fries

In a bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil, salt, black pepper, oregano, and basil.

  3. 7

    Bake the Fries

Spread the seasoned potato wedges on a baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

Cooking the Asparagus

  1. 8

    Prepare the Asparagus

Trim the ends of the asparagus and place them on a baking sheet.

  2. 9

    Season the Asparagus

Drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt and black pepper.

  3. 10

    Roast the Asparagus

Roast the asparagus in the oven for about 10-15 minutes, until tender.

Making the Housemade Steak House Sauce

  1. 11

    Combine Ingredients

In a bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

  2. 12

    Chill the Sauce

Refrigerate the sauce for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
