Chill glass (optional)
If you prefer a colder drink, place a rocks glass or coupe in the freezer for 5–10 minutes or fill with ice while you prepare the cocktail.
Mixing

Add 2 oz Ketel One Vodka, 0.5 oz fresh lime juice, and 0.25 oz simple syrup into a cocktail shaker.

Fill the shaker with cubed ice (about 1 cup).

Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until well chilled (the shaker should become frosty).
Serving

If you chilled the serving glass, remove it from the freezer or dump the ice used to chill. Optionally add fresh ice to the glass (about 1/2 cup) for a rocks-style drink.

Double strain (optional) the shaken mixture into the prepared glass to remove small ice chips and pulp. For a more classic presentation, you can simply fine strain into a chilled coupe or strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass.
