Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Preheat and Prepare

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a cast iron skillet or baking dish with cooking spray or butter.

  2. 2

    Mix the Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the lump crab meat, softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, shredded gruyere cheese, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, chopped green onions, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

  3. 3

    Layer the Dip

Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared cast iron skillet. Top with the tomato jam, spreading it evenly over the crab mixture.

  4. 4

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and golden on top.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with Cajun fried saltines on the side.
