Method
Cooking the Pasta
- 1
Boil the Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.
- 2
Drain the Pasta
Once cooked, drain the fettuccine pasta in a colander and set aside.
Grilling the Chicken
- 3
Prepare the Chicken
Rub the boneless, skinless chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
- 4
Grill the Chicken
Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- 5
Slice the Chicken
Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into strips.
Making the Alfredo Sauce
- 6
- 7
Add Garlic and Cream
Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Then add the heavy cream, stirring to combine.
- 8
Add Cheese and Seasoning
Gradually stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Continue to cook for about 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- 9
Combine Sauce and Pasta
Add the drained fettuccine pasta to the sauce and toss until the pasta is evenly coated with the Alfredo sauce.
