Cocktail Preparation
1. Prepare the Mixing Glass
Fill a mixing glass with ice to chill.
2. Combine Ingredients
Pour the Rittenhouse rye, Appleton Estate Reserve rum, sweet vermouth, and Licor 43 into the mixing glass.
3. Add Bitters
Add 2 dashes each of Fee Brothers Aztec chocolate bitters and Regan's orange bitters to the mixture.
4. Stir the Mixture
Stir the mixture gently with a bar spoon for about 30 seconds until well chilled.
5. Strain into Glass
Strain the mixture into a chilled coupe or cocktail glass.
6. Garnish & Serve
Garnish with the orange peel and drop the BU brandied cherry into the glass before serving.
