Burger Assembly

Method

Preparation and Assembly

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form into 4 equal patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  3. 3

    Grill the Pineapple

In the same skillet or on a grill, cook the pineapple slices for about 2-3 minutes on each side until grill marks appear.

  4. 4

    Cook the Patties

In the skillet, cook the beef patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes per side or until desired doneness is reached.

  5. 5

    Add Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover to melt.

  6. 6

    Make Teriyaki Mayo

In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise and teriyaki sauce. Adjust seasoning if necessary.

  7. 7

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each burger bun, spread a layer of teriyaki mayo, then add the patty with melted cheese, followed by bacon, grilled pineapple, tomato slices, and onion slices. Top with the other half of the bun.
