Method
Chicken Wings
- 1
Prepare the Chicken Wings
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- 2
Season the Chicken Wings
In a large mixing bowl, combine the chicken wings, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.
- 3
Bake the Chicken Wings
Spread the seasoned chicken wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are crispy and cooked through.
- 4
Prepare the Hot Sauce Mixture
While the wings are baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the hot sauce.
- 5
Coat the Wings with Hot Sauce
Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the hot sauce mixture over the wings and toss to coat.
Ranch Dressing
- 6
Prepare the Ranch Dressing
In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, buttermilk, dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste.
- 7
Chill the Dressing
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the ranch dressing for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
