Sausage Patties

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Mix Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork with salt, black pepper, sage, thyme, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, and maple syrup. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly distributed.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into patties, about 1/2 inch thick.

  3. 3

    Cook Patties

Heat cooking oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sausage patties and cook for approximately 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are browned and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 160°F).

  4. 4

    Cool and Store

Once cooked, remove the patties from the skillet and allow them to cool. Pre-cooked patties can be refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for longer storage.
