Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Clean the button mushrooms with a damp cloth and slice them. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Chop the fresh parsley.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Onion and Garlic

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Add the minced garlic and sauté for an additional 1 minute.

  3. 3

    Cook the Mushrooms

Add the sliced button mushrooms to the skillet. Stir well to combine and cook for about 5-7 minutes, until the mushrooms are tender and have released their moisture.

  4. 4

    Add Sherry and Season

Pour in the sherry, and season with salt and black pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sherry has reduced slightly.

  5. 5

    Garnish and Serve

Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley. Serve warm as a side dish or over pasta or rice.
