Lobster Oscar Ingredients

Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Lobster

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). In a pot of boiling salted water, cook the lobster tails for 8-10 minutes until fully cooked. Remove them from the pot, let them cool slightly, and then split them in half lengthwise.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Asparagus

In a skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Add asparagus and season with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Cook for 5-7 minutes until tender.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Crab Mixture

In a mixing bowl, combine crab meat with lemon juice, remaining butter (melted), and chopped parsley. Mix well.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Dish

On a baking sheet, place the lobster halves cut side up. Top each half with the crab mixture. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove from the oven, plate the lobster Oscar with sautéed asparagus on the side, and drizzle with hollandaise sauce. Garnish with extra parsley if desired.
