Baby Back Ribs

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Make the Dry Rub

In a small bowl, mix together paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Rub the mixture generously over both sides of the ribs.

  3. 3

    Bake the Ribs

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil. Cover the ribs tightly with another piece of foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, until the meat is tender.

  4. 4

    Glaze with BBQ Sauce

Remove the ribs from the oven and discard the top layer of foil. Brush BBQ sauce generously over the ribs.

  5. 5

    Final Cooking

Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) and return the ribs to the oven, uncovered, for an additional 15-20 minutes to caramelize the sauce.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with additional BBQ sauce if desired.
