BUBBA'S SANDWICHES
- 1
Cook the bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook 6 slices of bacon until crisp and browned, about 8 minutes. Transfer to paper towels to drain.

- 3
Warm the turkey and season
If desired, briefly warm the 12 ounces of sliced turkey in the microwave for 20–30 seconds. Season with 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper; toss to combine.
- 4
First layer (bottom bread)
Spread 1 tablespoon mayonnaise on the interior of the bottom bread slice (B1). Layer with about 4 ounces turkey, 1–2 slices cheddar, 2 slices bacon, and 1 cup lettuce. Top with the second bread slice (B2) with its mayo side facing the filling.
- 5
Second layer (second bread)
Place the second bread slice (B2) on top of the bottom layer. Spread 1 tablespoon mayonnaise on its interior. Layer with remaining turkey (about 4–8 ounces), 1–2 more cheddar slices, 2 more bacon slices, 1–2 tomato slices, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Top with the third bread slice (B3) with mayo side facing down.
- 6
Third layer (third bread)
Spread 1 tablespoon mayonnaise on the interior of the third bread slice (B3). Add the final filling: remaining turkey (approximately 4 ounces), 1–2 cheddar slices, 2 bacon slices, additional lettuce, and a second tomato slice as desired. Place the fourth bread slice (B4) on top, mayo side facing the fillings if desired.
- 7
Top and finish
Gently press the sandwich to compact the layers. Trim crusts if desired and cut into quarters for easy serving.
- 8
Serve
Serve immediately with potato chips, pickles, or your preferred side.
