ENTREE CHOICE

  1. 1

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). If grilling, preheat grill to medium-high (about 400°F / 205°C).

  2. 2

Pat the chicken dry with paper towels. Place in a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil.

  3. 3

In a small bowl, combine salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder to make the dry rub.

  4. 4

Toss chicken in the dry rub, ensuring each piece is evenly coated on all sides.

  5. 5

Arrange the chicken on a lined baking sheet or grill grates in a single layer. Bake (or grill) for 25-30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

  6. 6

Meanwhile, warm the house BBQ sauce in a small saucepan over low heat until smooth. If too thick, thin with a splash of water.

  7. 7

Brush the chicken with BBQ sauce, return to oven (or grill), and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes, basting halfway, until the sauce is glossy and the chicken is fully cooked.

  8. 8

Remove from heat and let rest 5 minutes. Serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
