1. Prepare the Bourbon Sauce
In a saucepan, combine Maker's Mark bourbon, brown sugar, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Set aside.
2. Prepare the Salmon
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Brush the salmon fillets with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper. Place the salmon on the grill skin-side down.
3. Grill the Salmon
Grill the salmon for 4-5 minutes per side, basting with the bourbon sauce during the last few minutes of cooking. The salmon should be cooked through and flake easily with a fork.
4. Steam the Broccoli
While the salmon is grilling, steam the broccoli florets in a steamer basket over boiling water for about 5-7 minutes until tender but still bright green.
5. Serve
