Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare Clams

In a large bowl, soak the clams in cold water for 30 minutes to an hour to remove any sand. Rinse thoroughly.

  2. 2

    Cook Linguine

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the linguine.

  3. 3

    Sauté Aromatics

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and Calabrian chili paste, sautéing until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add Clams

Add the rinsed clams to the skillet and stir to coat with the oil and garlic. Cover the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the clams have opened.

  5. 5

    Combine and Serve

Add the drained linguine to the skillet with the clams. Toss together, adding reserved pasta water as needed to create a light sauce. Stir in the chopped pistachios, orange zest, and parsley. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
