Bottled Mineral Water
Optional Garnishes / Serving
Method
Serve Pellegrino (750 ml)
Chill bottle
Ensure the 750 ml bottle of San Pellegrino has been chilled in the refrigerator for at least 2–4 hours, or place in an ice bucket for 20–30 minutes before serving. Bottle should be cold to the touch (about 4–8°C / 39–46°F) for optimal taste and carbonation.
Prepare glass (optional)
If using a glass, optionally fill it with 3–4 ice cubes to keep the water colder longer. Note: adding ice will slightly dilute the water as it melts and may reduce perceived carbonation.
Open bottle
Hold the bottle upright on a stable surface. Unscrew the cap slowly to release pressure gradually. If you want to preserve most of the carbonation, open the cap slowly until the fizz subsides and then remove it fully.
Pour
Pour the chilled Pellegrino into the prepared glass at a 45° angle to preserve effervescence, filling to desired level. Pour slowly to control fizz and minimize foaming.
Storage after opening
If you don't finish the bottle, re-cap it tightly and store it upright in the refrigerator. Consume within 1–3 days for best carbonation; carbonation will gradually decrease over time.
