Cooking Instructions
1. Prepare the Shrimp
In a bowl, season the shrimp with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Set aside.
2. Set Up Breading Station
In three separate shallow dishes, place flour in one, beaten eggs in the second, and panko breadcrumbs in the third.
3. Bread the Shrimp
Dip each shrimp first in the flour, shaking off excess, then into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs. Press the breadcrumbs gently to adhere.
4. Fry the Shrimp
In a large skillet or deep fryer, heat oil over medium-high heat. Fry the breaded shrimp in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
5. Serve
Serve the panko fried shrimp with cocktail sauce, alongside French fries and apple & celery root slaw.
