Bruschetta Components

Method

Preparation and Assembly

  1. 1

    Prepare Focaccia Crisps

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the focaccia bread into thin pieces, about 1/4 inch thick. Arrange the slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden and crisp.

  2. 2

    Make Tomato-Basil Cruda

In a bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped basil, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Toss gently to mix and let it sit for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

  3. 3

    Assemble Bruschetta

Spread a generous amount of goat cheese on each focaccia crisp. Top with the tomato-basil mixture and garnish with sliced kalamata olives.

  4. 4

    Serve

Arrange the assembled bruschetta on a serving platter and serve immediately.
