Cocktail base (per cocktail)

Method

Prepare and build

1

Chill glass

If desired, chill a highball or Collins glass by filling with ice water while you prepare the cocktail, then discard the water before building the drink.

2

Add ice

Fill the serving glass about two-thirds full with fresh ice cubes (approximately 1 cup).

3

Measure and pour spirits and juice

Pour 2 oz Deep Eddy flavored vodka (orange, grapefruit, or lemon) and 2 oz fresh squeezed matching citrus juice into the glass over the ice.

4

Add triple sec

Add 0.5 oz triple sec to the glass to bring a hint of orange liqueur and balance the fresh citrus.

5

Top with soda

Gently pour 1.5 oz lemon-lime soda over the back of a spoon or directly into the glass to preserve carbonation and create a light, effervescent top.

6

Light stir

Use a bar spoon to gently stir the drink 4–6 times just to integrate the vodka, juice, and triple sec with the soda without flattening the bubbles.

7

Garnish and serve

Garnish with a matching citrus wheel or wedge on the rim and an optional mint sprig. Serve immediately with a straw or without as preferred.

Batching (makes 8 servings)

8

Scale ingredients

To make a pitcher for 8 cocktails, multiply the per-cocktail ingredients by 8: 16 oz Deep Eddy flavored vodka, 16 oz fresh squeezed citrus juice, 4 oz triple sec, 12 oz lemon-lime soda, and plenty of ice.

9

Assemble pitcher

Combine vodka, fresh juice, and triple sec in a pitcher with a large amount of ice. Stir to chill and slightly dilute for balance.

10

Add soda before serving

Just before serving, top the pitcher or individual glasses with 12 oz lemon-lime soda (adjust to taste) and gently stir. Pour into glasses filled with ice and garnish each glass.
