Sauce

Method

Sauce Preparation

1

Sauté Garlic

In a medium saucepan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

2

Add Tomatoes and Seasonings

Stir in the crushed tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt, black pepper, and sugar. Bring the sauce to a simmer and let cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Vegetable Medley Preparation

3

Sauté Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced bell peppers, onion, mushrooms, and broccoli florets. Season with salt and pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.

Pizza Assembly

4

Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).

5

Roll Out Dough

On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness and shape. Transfer the rolled dough to a pizza stone or baking sheet.

6

Add Sauce and Toppings

Spread the prepared red sauce evenly over the pizza dough. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top, followed by the sautéed vegetable medley. Finish with a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese.

7

Bake the Pizza

Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.

8

Serve

Remove the pizza from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve hot.
