Ingredients for Steak Fajitas

Method

Cooking Directions for Steak Fajitas

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Thinly slice the sirloin steak, bell peppers, and onion. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Steak

In a bowl, combine the sliced steak with olive oil, salt, black pepper, cumin, and chili powder. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  3. 3

    Cook the Vegetables

In a large skillet over medium heat, add a tablespoon of olive oil. Once hot, add the sliced onions and bell peppers. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until softened. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  4. 4

    Cook the Steak

In the same skillet, add the marinated steak and cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked to your desired doneness.

  5. 5

    Combine Ingredients

Add the sautéed vegetables back into the skillet with the steak. Stir well to combine and heat through for an additional 2 minutes.

  6. 6

    Serve

Warm the flour tortillas in a separate pan. Serve the steak and vegetable mixture on the tortillas with salsa negra, guacamole, pico de gallo, and sour cream on the side.

  7. 7

    Accompany with Vegetable Rice

Serve the fajitas with a side of vegetable rice.
