Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prep the Ham

Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Place the spiral-cut ham on a rack in a roasting pan, cut side down.

  2. 2

    Make the Glaze

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine maple syrup, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, ground cinnamon, ground cloves, and apple cider vinegar. Stir until the sugar has dissolved, and the mixture is smooth.

  3. 3

    Glaze the Ham

Brush the glaze over the ham, ensuring it gets into the spirals. Reserve some glaze for basting.

  4. 4

    Bake the Ham

Cover the ham loosely with foil and bake for 1.5 to 2 hours, basting every 30 minutes with the reserved glaze.

  5. 5

    Finish and Serve

Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes of cooking to allow the glaze to caramelize. Once done, let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
