Method
Preparation and Cooking
- 1
Prepare the Pizza Dough
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and shape. Transfer it to a pizza stone or a baking sheet.
- 2
Cook the Beef
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned. Drain excess fat. Add chopped jalapenos and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until softened. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 3
Assemble the Pizza
Spread the black bean sauce evenly over the prepared pizza dough. Add the cooked beef and jalapeno mixture on top. Sprinkle the cheddar jack cheese over everything.
- 4
Bake the Pizza
Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the crust is golden brown.
- 5
Add Fresh Toppings
Remove the pizza from the oven. Top with shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, and crushed tortilla chips. Drizzle with sour cream and sprinkle with chili flakes to taste.
- 6
Serve
Slice the pizza into wedges and serve hot.
